Highlights

Subtasks close with their parent

Closing the last open subtask now moves the parent to the same column. Closing a parent takes its open subtasks with it, and leaves the already closed ones where they are. Two switches in Workflow → Configuration, both off by default. Only closing is synced; moving an issue between open states still changes nothing else.

Turn features off per project

Subtasks, Checklists and Issue stats each got a switch in Settings → General → Features. Turn one off and its section disappears from the issue. With Subtasks off, the Display panel drops "Show subtasks" and every subtask gets its own row on the board.

The board got depth

Kanban columns now have a surface of their own, sitting below the content background with the cards above it. The dark theme was rebalanced around that: sidebar, column, content and card each sit at a different level. Columns are wider, the gaps between them tighter.

Also in this release

  • Paste a screenshot anywhere on an issue and it is uploaded, attached and appended to the description, no need to click into the editor first.
  • Archive thresholds moved out of their own settings section into Workflow → Configuration, next to the subtask automations.
  • A subtask page shows its parent in the breadcrumb, and the issue detail panel now closes when you navigate away from it.
