Cycles
Work now has a sprint to sit in. A cycle runs between two dates and holds the issues you planned into it, and the dates alone say whether it is upcoming, active or done, so there is nothing to start or close by hand. When one ends you can hand its leftovers to the next one and see what it actually delivered.
Checklists
Not every step is worth a subtask. An issue can hold checklists of small items you tick off as you go, with the count in the heading telling you how far you are.
Two levels of sharing
A public link used to show everything the issue had on it. Now you choose: the work alone, or the work with the people and the internal fields on it.
Create the blocker on the spot
The issue you need to link to does not have to exist yet. Create it from the Links panel and it comes back linked. Anything blocked is tinted red on the board, so what cannot move looks like it.
Status changes say what changed
A "status changed" notification now says which states the issue moved between, wherever it reaches you.
Polish
Priorities are easier to read at a glance, markdown has more air around it, and the header, initiatives and inbox fit a phone screen. The new issue dialog reaches every section again when a project has many markdown fields.
