Import from Plane
A project can import its issues, comments, labels, states, cycles, and attachments from a self-hosted Plane instance. A project can also export its data to a JSON file. Go to Project settings → Import/Export. Instructions: docs/importing-from-plane.md.

More than one person can edit a document at the same time. Comments attach to selected text. Cmd/Ctrl+K finds documents.
Project switcher
The project switcher has search and sort. You can star a project or hide it from your list.

@itsaplan/runner 0.5.1 has presets for pi and omp.

- On an instance with no accounts,
/loginopens the sign-up page. The first account becomes the administrator. - The activity heatmap in the pulse widget can show only your actions.
- On a phone, a link card loads its preview when it comes into view. The API caches link previews.
- An attachment is deleted only after you confirm.
- The subtask progress bar on a Kanban card is in the "Subtasks" header row.
- A comment, an issue description, and a text custom field value are limited to 50,000 characters. A long text does not slow the server during mention parsing.
- The Overview dashboard is available when a project has saved dashboards.
- On a phone or a tablet, a tap on a link in an editable description opens the link.
- Image annotation works on a new issue and on an existing attachment.
- The Helm chart pulls the MinIO images from Quay.

Upgrade
The api applies the migrations when it starts:
0128adds the favorite and hidden flags to project membership.0129adds the tables for collaborative Docs editing and document comments.0130adds the import job tables.
The worker service needs the S3_* variables. The worker keeps the attachments of a Plane import in the bucket of the api. The three compose files set these variables. If you use your own compose file, add S3_ENDPOINT, S3_BUCKET, S3_ACCESS_KEY_ID, S3_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY, S3_REGION, and S3_FORCE_PATH_STYLE to the worker. IMPORT_POLL_INTERVAL_MS is optional.
