Highlights
The agent chat is a panel at the right side
The full chat page and the floating chat are replaced by one panel. The panel stays open while you move between the pages of a project, so you see the work and the chat together. It holds several sessions as tabs: open a tab from the history, rename it, drag it to another place. The panel has an overlay mode and a push mode, and it keeps its mode and its width after a reload.
Stop a running answer
A reply that runs too long now has a stop control. It works for an internal agent and for an external one. The text that arrived before the stop stays in the transcript, marked "Stopped". An external agent's runner kills the command on your machine.
Type the next message while the agent writes
The composer no longer closes during a reply. A message that you type is queued, shown at the end of the transcript, and sent when the running reply ends. You can remove a queued message before its turn.
Pin a column on the board
Every column header has a Pin control. The pinned column moves to the start edge of the board and stays there during a side scroll. One column per board can be pinned. The pin is a display setting: a saved view keeps it, and a board without a view keeps it on the device.
Also in this release
- Tool input and output in the chat is highlighted for any code, not only for JSON. A unified diff gets green and red lines.
- The control labels in the header and in the four work item views use the styled tooltip. Each label also reaches a screen reader.
- A chart that the model wrapped loosely is drawn. Before, a stray token next to the JSON turned the chart into a code block.
- The top bar of the account pages stays at the top of the screen during a scroll.
- The api code is fully moved to the
modules/layout.
Upgrade
The api applies the migrations when it starts.
Update the runner to 0.4.0. Version 0.3.0 does not know about the stop control, so it keeps the command going after a member presses stop.
The AI Chat start page is gone. An account that used it starts on Work items.
/project/:projectKey/ai-team/chat opens the AI Team page.
