Chat with an external agent

An external agent can now answer in the chat, the same as an internal one. Before this it could only take an issue by a mention or a delegation.

The answer arrives while the coding agent writes it, and the tools it calls appear in the transcript with the input and the output of each. One conversation stays in one session on the machine that runs the agent, so the agent keeps the full context. The chat header shows the id of that session, and claude --resume <id> opens the same conversation in your terminal.

This needs @itsaplan/runner 0.2.0. That version also brings presets for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI and opencode: one line, "agent": "claude", in place of a hand-written command. The setup for each is in docs/runner.md.

Stop the queued runs of a schedule

A schedule whose agent is offline collects runs that wait forever. You can now end them, one at a time or all at once, from the schedule menu or the run history. A run that a worker or a runner already claimed has to finish on its own.

A new issue takes the values of the filters

An issue created on a filtered board now takes the values those filters set: status, type, assignee, delegate, priority, initiative, cycle and label. Only a filter that sets one value carries over. The issue stays on the board where you created it.

Also in this release

  • The chat transcript shows the tool calls of an internal agent too, with the arguments and the result of each.
  • Arabic is now one of the interface languages, and the whole layout mirrors for it. The server render sets the writing direction, so the first paint is already mirrored. There are now six languages.
  • The issue detail sidebar, the header and the breadcrumb chevron mirror correctly in a right-to-left language.
  • The run history of a schedule groups its runs into Pending, Running and Completed.
  • The docs describe Railway as a third way to run the stack, and the README has a deploy button for it.
  • The API docs at /docs name and group the system and internal endpoints. They showed only the raw path of each before.
