Highlights

Agents run on your own machine

An agent can now run on a machine that you control, with your accounts and your model keys. This can be your laptop, a server or a VPS. Install the @itsaplan/runner package and start it. It takes the tasks of the agent and sends each one to Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, opencode or a different command. The result comes back to the issue. Mentions, delegation and schedules all make tasks for the agent.

WIP limits on board columns

You can set a maximum number of issues for a column. The soft limit only shows a warning. The hard limit does not let a new issue into a full column. This is true for every way to move an issue, and also for the API and for agents.

Date and time custom fields

A custom field can now hold a time, not only a day. There are two new types: one moment, or a start and an end. The Calendar can place issues by any date field, not only by Start date and Due date.

Filter by cycle and initiative

You can now filter issues by cycle and by initiative, in every view. Select a specific cycle, or select "Active cycle". A view with "Active cycle" stays correct after a sprint ends. You do not have to edit it.

Also in this release

  • The Timeline has a second grouping level, the same as the Table.
  • You can move a timeline row to a different group, or to a different position. Drag the row by its label. Drag the bar to change only the dates.

  • Two more interface languages: Russian and Simplified Chinese. There are now four.

  • Dates and relative times show in the interface language.
